The Kru Muay Thai Association (KMA) is a non-profit organization, with focus on the teaching and grading curriculum of Muay Thai and Muay Boran.
Accredited by Thailand’s Ministry of Culture and Education since 2003.
Goal
To recognize and reward dedicated Muay Thai practitioners by educating them on the techniques, rules, culture and KMA teaching system, in order to be certified as a professional Muay Thai “Kru” or teacher, so to spread knowledge of the art globally.
Our Objective
To preserve Muay Thai and Muay Boran culture, to withhold the key values through the promotion of various Muay Thai projects.
Our Vision
The Kru Muay Thai Association would like for Muay Thai and other Thai martial arts to be recognized for their valuable art form and Thai heritage.

Kru Muaythai Association (KMA)
The Kru Muay Thai Association supports certified Muay Thai instructors and Muay Thai coaches through international promotion, educational resources, and the continued development of a world-class standardized Muay Thai curriculum. Our mission is to preserve the traditions, techniques, and cultural values of Muay Thai while providing a professional framework for modern Muay Thai teachers and instructors around the world.
Established for over a decade, with more than 1,000 Muay Thai teachers and Muay Thai instructors across 60 countries, the Kru Muay Thai Association has become one of the most respected and rewarding Muay Thai coach and instructor organizations internationally.
Once officially recognized as a “Kru” within the KMA system, each Muay Thai instructor, Muay Thai coach, and Muay Thai teacher is authorized to examine, assess, and grade students according to the KMA Khan ranking system. This structured pathway helps maintain consistency, authenticity, and high standards in Muay Thai education worldwide.

The Kru Muaythai Association (KMA) has been officially registered and granted authority under the guidelines, rules, and regulations of the Office of the National Culture Commission, Ministry of Culture of Thailand, since 9 May 2003 (T.167/2546).
Mr. Chinawut Sirisompan (Grand Master Woody)
Kru Muaythai Association (KMA) has been registered and given full authority, mandate with permitted strictly under the guideline rule and regulation of the office of National Culture Commission, Ministry of Culture on 9 May 2003. To bring together of all the masters, grand masters in all arts of Muaythai —Boran by giving assistant to promote register support and develops standard of curriculum, structure for learning, teaching, nationally and internationally.
