<p>Grão Mestre Alzemiro de Carvalho since childhood believed in being an instructor and practitioner of martial arts. In Sapucaia do Sul, the city where he arrived from Santa Cruz do Sul at the age of seven, he used to practice in nature together with an instructor. Years passed and he managed to enter an academy in Porto Alegre where he met a Korean master and his children, all Taekwondo practitioners.<br>
For years he lived between school studies, work and almost daily Taekwondo training, when then, his childhood dream began to come true when he graduated Taekwondo black belt in 1983, thus began a great story.</p>
<p>When Mestre China graduated, his teacher recommended that he go to Bento Gonçalves to work and have his own academy. In 1984, his first academy was opened, he remained there in Rio Grande do Sul, teaching Taekwondo, also in Carlos Barbosa and Garibaldi, for three and a half years. He returned to São Leopoldo at the invitation of the owner of the Garra academy, which unfortunately no longer exists.</p>
<p>Mestre China taught for ten years in this academy, when he graduated as a Master in Taekwondo. He then decided to have his own academy again, thus the well-known Academia Carvalho was born. We have been at Avenida Dom João Becker 570 for almost thirteen years, in the center of São Leopoldo, in a very privileged location in front of Praça do Imigrante, between the bus station and the municipal sports gymnasium and neighbors to the city council.</p>
<p>Mestre China works there together with his wife and children, all trained as black belts in Taekwondo, affiliated to the Gaucho Taekwondo Federation, confederated to the Brazilian Taekwondo Confederation and recognized by KUKKIWON – World Taekwondo Federation based in Seoul, South Korea.<br>
Currently Mestre China is vice-president of the Gaucho Federation of Taekwondo, Bachelor of Physical Education (Ulbra) Canoas and is accredited by the Regional Council of Physical Education (CREF).</p>
<p>He and his family love what they teach, believe in their work and are evangelical people who have great faith in God Jehovah and so are available to all people regardless of race, color, age to know the work of Academia Carvalho and its professionals.</p>
<p>We also have Hapkido, martial art and self defense, and Muay Thai, Thai boxing. Carvalho Martial Arts is being inaugurated in Sapucaia do Sul, led by the son of Mestre China, Luiz Felipe Silva de Carvalho, black belt 6th Dan in Taekwondo, 4th Dan in Hapkido and 12th Khan in Muay Thai. Now then the city where the boy dreamed of being a martial arts instructor has another Carvalho Academy led by his son and supervised by him.</p>
<p>Every dream can be real with faith, discipline and perseverance. This story is real and can be proven.</p>

<p>As a child, Assistant Grandmaster Kyriakos Christofi discovered the mysterious world of Martial Arts. He has since, dedicated his whole life to it.</p>
<p>He first studied in Karate, but an endless wish for something more dynamic led him to study the secrets of Kung Fu, then onto Kick Boxing which started his competitive career.</p>
<p>As the years passed, Muay Thai was becoming more and more popular. Arjarn Kyriakos decided to become a student of this art and when the Cyprus Muay Thai Association needed more instructors,</p>
<p>2001 AGM Kyriakos was chosen to travel to Thailand to participate in an instructor’s course in the WMC camp in Koh Samui.</p>
<p>As an officially qualified instructor, he began to teach the art of Muay Thai to many people including both women and children .</p>
<p>AGM Kyriakos is the Head instructor in Lumpinee Muaythai Gym and create a local association with the name SPAMEL with over 100 students .</p>
<p>2002-2004 He continues his studies under the world famous Master Sken by frequently traveling to the UK on the year.</p>
<p>2003 August ,AGM Kyriakos spent a whole month in the WMC camp in Koh Samui, Thailand. There he was trained by some of the finest Thai coaches and ended up defeating a Thai fighter at the Chaweng Stadium by K.O. in the second round.</p>
<p>2004 he received high title of Kru Yai 13 Khan Red and Silver Mongon ( Chief Instructor ) from the Higher Institute of Martial Arts in Thailand after a successful examination from the world famous Grand Master Chinawood ( Master Woody).</p>

<p>2009 AGM Kyriakos went to train for a whole month to the Muaythai Institute Thailand where he studied the curriculum of the Institute and after the Exams by the Institute Thai Masters received the diplomas of the qualified instructor 1 and 2 with the high Grade of A excellent.</p>
<p>2009 after an Invitation from the Lebanese Muaythai Federation Kru Yai Kyriakos is giving a Muay Boran seminar to over 100 students and Teachers of the Lebanese Federation</p>
<p>2010 he travels to Thailand again and participating to the IFMA Khan curriculum seminar during the World Championship under the Thai Master Amnat of the Muay Korat with other Countries official Instructors and received his diplomas and grade from Ifma President Dr Tapswan .</p>
<p>2011 March 13 Kyriakos Christofi travels to Thailand to the annual World Muay Boran Festival with his team and after a successful exam from the Khan Comity from the Thai Grand masters he received his high title of Arjarn ( Master )Khan 14 Silver Mongon (www.krumuaythai.or.th)</p>
<p>2012 January he create organize and register in Cyprus the Federation CYTMF ( Cyprus Traditional Muaythai Federation ) where he is the Leader and the President of the Technical committee.</p>
<p>2014 Arjarn Kyriakos organize the 1st MUAY BORAN seminar in Cyprus with Gmaster Kevin Loyd</p>
<p>CYTMF received the recognition of the Sports Authority of Cyprus.</p>

<p><strong>Mr. Ralf Kussler, “AGM Ralf”,</strong> was born on 5th May 1963 in Haltern / Germany. He started training in martial arts at the age of six. He gained a black belt in different martial systems before starting Muay Thai. He is currently the CEO and founder of “Thai Martial Arts Academy Germany”.</p>
<p>As Representative for Germany, he is sending the German National Team every year to Thailand.</p>
<p>Inviting and organizing Seminars with Thai Instructors to run workshops all over Germany.</p>
